HOW TO WEAR AND WASH REUSABLE PADS & LINERS

We know it’s important to you to make choices in your life that mean you don’t have to compromise your wellbeing or the health of the planet. That’s why we’ve designed our TOM Organic Reusable Pads and TOM Organic Reusable Liners. They’re two more earth-conscious options for your period, so you never have to compromise on your comfort or the planet.

How do I wear Reusable Pads and Liners?

Our Reusable Pads and Liners are as intuitive and easy to use as our Original Pad and Liner options. When it’s that time of the month, simply place inside your underwear, bleed, and remove it when it’s time to freshen up. Then replace it with a clean Reusable Pad. You can also mix it up and replace it with a pair of our TOM Organic Period Underwear or one of our TOM Original Pads. If you’re expecting your period or at the very tail end of it, or simply looking for everyday freshness, our Reusable Liners are a great option.

How do they stay in place?

Unlike our Original Pads and Liners, our Reusables don’t have an adhesive backing. Instead, they have an adherent silicone backing that grips onto your underwear, plus click buttons to easily secure your pad or liner in place.

How do Reusable Pads and Liners feel?

Our new reusables are thoughtfully crafted with organic cotton and considered materials. Wear the same way you would your regular pad or liner, then simply wash and reuse. They have a super absorbent core to keep you protected the same way a regular pad or liner would. This multi-layered absorbent core also offers some gentle cushioning, which provides extra comfort while you’re bleeding. Although they’re very absorbent, they don’t feel bulky or bunch up as you wear them.

How do I wash Reusable Pads and Liners?

Once you’ve finished wearing a Reusable Pad or Liner, rinse it with in cold water until the water runs clear. Cold machine wash it in a laundry bag on a delicate cycle, or simply hand wash. Always line dry; never tumble dry.

To keep your Reusable Pads and Liners in the best condition for as long as possible, please don’t wash them with fabric softener or bleach – they don’t need it.

By following these cleaning instructions, you can expect your Reusable Pads or Liners to last for about 40 washes – the same as our Period Underwear!

How are Reusable Pads and Reusable Liners good for the environment?

If you’re looking to reduce the number of single-use products in your life, reusable period products are an excellent way to do so. Our TOM Reusable Pads and TOM Reusable Liners don’t need to be thrown away after every use, and are packaged without plastic.

There is no one size fits all approach when it comes to our cycle. So, whether it's incorporating reusables into your current routine, by combining it with our TOM originals or Period Underwear for a hybrid approach. Or replacing our TOM original pads and liners completely, it’s your body and it’s your cycle.
