TOM ORGANIC CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE 2016

We’ve got your last minute gift ideas sorted this Christmas.

Here is our selection of what to give, receive and wrap up this festive season.

1 // Treat yourself and your loved one with organic cotton bed sheets from Melbourne based Bhumi Organic Cotton. Luxurious breathable sheets, perfect for those warm summer nights.

2 // A beautiful handmade ceramic platter or bowl from Mud Australia. A special addition to any kitchen cupboard.

3 // Grown and Gathered’s latest book by the incredible duo, Matt and Lentil, will be sure to have you inspired to learn new recipes, grow, preserve and live well.

4 // A huge beach umbrella from Basil Bangs. The ultimate beachside accessory this summer to keep you sun-safe.

5 // A Monstera plant from Bunnings or any local nursery. Easy to grow and low maintenance, we have filled our TOM office with pots of these lush green beauties.

6 // RMS beauty (available from any Mecca Cosmetica store) brings you natural beauty products made with organic ingredients. We are loving their living luminiser and lip to cheek for a quick summery glow.

7 // A comfortable organic cotton PJ set from the new kids on the block, Organic Crew.  Their range of luxe basics are ethically and sustainably made in Melbourne.

8 // 10 & Co’s incredible body oil Motherlover to lather on after a hot shower or a dip in the ocean. We are obsessed, even those of us in the office who aren’t mothers.

9 // Earrings or rings from Kingston Jewellery. All pieces are delicately hand crafted in Barwon Heads on the Victorian coast by designer Jemima Kingston. Playful accessories to wear to your next summer soirée.

10 // Make a donation to charity. In light of the recent tragedy in Aleppo, Syria and around the world, how can we help children and families in desperate need?  Donate money directly to organisations that are directly helping Syrian families and refugees. Save the Children Australia provide protection, education, health care, food, water and supplies. Unicef provides winter clothes, health care and psychological help for the children, plus shelter and sanitation facilities. U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees supply emergency shelter kits, warm clothing, extra thermal blankets, low energy heaters, nappies and other hygiene items to families, along with setting up emergency education and protection facilities for children. The protection of children is a core priority for UNHCR. There are lots of other great places to donate too, such as Doctors without Borders, International Red Cross, and Oxfam.
